In a tragic incident in Kaushambi district on Sunday morning, a 32-year-old man lost his life after being struck by a speeding dumper while spitting tobacco from an auto-rickshaw. The deceased, identified as Mohd Saleem, was a resident of Jafarpur Mahava (Paschim Sarira) in Kaushambi.
Details of the Incident
According to police reports, Saleem was traveling in an auto-rickshaw on Sunday morning. He leaned his head out of the vehicle to spit tobacco when a dumper, moving at high speed, hit him near the Newhar area, which falls under the jurisdiction of Karari police station. The impact was fatal, and Saleem died on the spot.
Police Response
Upon receiving information about the accident, a team from Karari police station rushed to the scene. The body was sent for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. Authorities are investigating the incident and have registered a case.
