Possible Motive

Preliminary inquiries suggest the case may be linked to a long-standing romantic relationship between the two. Local sources claimed that a village panchayat had reportedly intervened around three months ago and advised them not to meet. Despite this, they are believed to have remained in contact.

RPF suspected the duo had reached the railway track to commit suicide, though the exact sequence of events remains unclear. Police said the actual cause of the incident can be established only after a detailed investigation and the statement of the injured.

Shrikant worked at a garment store in Bijulia Market on the Chas-Talgaria road.
