Lucknow Patricide: 19-Year-Old Son Murders Father in Calculated Crime

In a gruesome case that has stunned the Aashiana locality of Lucknow, police have uncovered chilling new details about the patricide committed by a 19-year-old boy. The investigation reveals a meticulously planned crime where the teenager murdered his father and made extensive efforts to conceal the evidence.

The Calculated Murder and Dismemberment

According to police investigators, the shocking incident occurred in the early hours of February 20th. The 19-year-old boy allegedly used a licensed rifle to shoot his father, who was both a pathologist and liquor trader, around 4:30 AM. What baffles authorities is that despite the gunshot, no other residents in the same four-story building reported hearing anything unusual. This includes tenants on the third floor and relatives living on the first floor.

After committing the murder, the accused reportedly brought his father's body down from the fourth floor to the ground floor. In a particularly gruesome development, he then used a manual saw to dismember the corpse. To prevent suspicion from neighbors, he repeatedly sprayed room freshener to mask the foul odor emanating from the crime scene.

Systematic Disposal of Evidence

Police sources indicate the accused packed the severed hands and legs in a sack and disposed of them near a canal in the Para area. The remaining torso was concealed inside a blue drum that he had purchased from the market specifically for this purpose. In a further attempt to erase evidence, he allegedly burned blood-stained bedsheets, blankets, and even wallpaper near the dumping site. Police later recovered partially burnt remnants from this location.

Perhaps most telling of premeditation, the accused ordered a knife set and a saw through the quick-commerce platform Blinkit just one day after the murder. This purchase suggests calculated planning for body disposal rather than a spontaneous act of violence.

Mysterious Motive and Family Background

During interrogation, the accused claimed he killed his father in a fit of anger due to pressure to clear the NEET medical entrance examination. However, investigators remain skeptical of this explanation. Even family members have failed to identify any serious or ongoing disputes between father and son that would explain such extreme violence.

The lack of a clear motive has made this case a subject of intense discussion throughout the locality. Neighbors describe the boy as reserved and soft-spoken, with a surprising background in community theater. He actively participated in Ramlila performances, often portraying the character of Ravan.

Family sources reveal there was tension regarding career choices. The father reportedly wanted his son to pursue medicine or civil services, while the boy showed more interest in business and acting. About six months prior to the murder, following a dispute related to NEET preparation, the boy briefly left home for Kanpur after leaving a note, but later returned after family persuasion.

Family Living Arrangements and Investigation

The family resided in a four-story building in Aashiana's Sector L. The victim lived on the fourth floor with his children, while tenants occupied the third floor. On the first floor resided the victim's brother, who serves as a UP police personnel, along with his family.

The boy's sister is believed to be the only eyewitness to the crime. Following police investigation and crime scene recreation on Tuesday, the accused was arrested and subsequently sent to jail. The case continues to develop as investigators piece together the full sequence of events and search for clearer motives behind this shocking act of violence against a family member.
