According to the prosecution, the victim, K Balamurugan, a 32-year-old resident of ESI Colony in Rajapalayam, was brutally attacked with billhooks by the accused, identified as M Ravikumar and M Marimuthu. The assault resulted in Balamurugan's death, prompting immediate action from law enforcement.
