The team, comprising ASI Pawan Kumar, Praveen Kumar, Head Constable Dinesh Kumar, Vikram Kumar, and Driver Head Constable Jasvinder Singh, was positioned near Umri Morr on National Highway-44.

The tip-off indicated that Sakir, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, was actively involved in selling opium, smack, and heroin. It was further disclosed that he would be arriving on the same day with a consignment of opium from Bareilly, traveling via Ambala by bus, with the intention of distributing it in the Kurukshetra area.
