Kerala Police Sees Major Reshuffle with Key Appointments
The Kerala Police force has undergone a significant reshuffle. This move involves several high-ranking officers receiving new postings across the state. The changes aim to bring fresh leadership to various critical positions.
Top-Level Appointments and Transfers
Inspector General of Police Kaliraj Mahesh Kumar has been transferred. He now takes charge as the new Police Commissioner of Kochi city. This is a prominent appointment in the coastal metro.
Hari Sankar, who recently served as the Kochi City Police Commissioner, has been reassigned. He moves to the position of Deputy Inspector General of Police for the Armed Police Battalions.
Changes in Commissioner and DIG Roles
Narayanan T previously held the dual role of DIG and Commissioner of Police for Kozhikode City. He has now been transferred. His new posting is as the Deputy Inspector General for the Thrissur range.
