The victim, identified as Virendra Dohre, was in his agricultural field on Friday afternoon with his wife, Guddi Devi. According to the complaint filed by the grieving wife, a fellow villager named Akhilesh joined them at the site. As evening approached, around 6:30 PM, Guddi Devi returned to their home, leaving her husband in the field.
When Virendra Dohre did not return home even after nightfall, his wife grew worried and went out to search for him. The search led to a horrifying discovery: she found her husband's headless body lying near their field. The scene suggested a violent attack, with an axe suspected to be the weapon used in the beheading.
Police Action and Family Background
Acting swiftly on the complaint lodged by Guddi Devi, the local police have registered a case against Akhilesh from the same village.
