Hyderabad Flying Instructor Faces Serious Allegations of Rape and Manipulation

A shocking case has emerged in Hyderabad, where a flying instructor has been accused of raping a female student and engaging in severe emotional manipulation. According to a police complaint filed at the Begumpet police station, the 30-year-old instructor, who works at an Institute of Pilot Training, allegedly exploited his position of trust to commit these acts.

Details of the Alleged Assault and Manipulation

The complainant, a student at the institute, stated that the instructor initially presented himself as a "brotherly" figure to gain her confidence. She attended study sessions at his residence in Brahmanwadi, where the alleged assault occurred on 27 December 2025. The woman reported that the instructor persuaded her to stay at his paying guest accommodation by citing personal distress, after which he forcibly had sexual intercourse with her.

Following the incident, the accused allegedly threatened the woman and her family with severe consequences if she disclosed what happened. In her statement, she described the episode as involving rape, emotional manipulation, criminal intimidation, and abuse of trust and authority by someone in a teacher and brother-like role.

Ongoing Intimidation and Police Action

The woman further alleged that the intimidation continued even after the instructor moved to Dammaiguda, where she had been attending classes. This persistent harassment forced her to stop attending study sessions by 1 March 2026. Police have registered a case under sections 64(2)(f) and 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), indicating serious legal scrutiny.

Officials confirmed that the investigation is actively ongoing, with statements, digital evidence, and other corroborative materials being collected to determine the appropriate legal actions. The complainant had joined the institute in January 2025 and previously studied under another instructor, whom she regarded as a father figure, highlighting the stark contrast in her experiences.

This case underscores the vulnerabilities students can face in educational settings and the critical need for robust safeguards against abuse of authority. The Hyderabad police are working diligently to ensure justice is served as the probe continues.
