Hisar Police Register Criminal Case Over Alleged Forged Bail Documents
In a significant development in Hisar, the police have formally registered a criminal case against two named individuals, including a village panch from Kuleri, for their alleged involvement in using forged documents to secure bail for an accused in a serious attempted murder case. No arrests have been made at this stage as the investigation continues to unfold.
FIR Filed on Complaint by District and Sessions Judge
Acting on a detailed complaint lodged by District and Sessions Judge Alka Malik, the Civil Lines police station in Hisar has taken swift action by filing a First Information Report (FIR). The FIR names Deepak alias Rahul, son of Jagannath Das, a resident of Parav Chowk; Rajendra, who serves as a panch of Kuleri village; and other unidentified individuals. The charges have been framed under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, highlighting the gravity of the alleged offenses.
Details of the Alleged Forgery Scheme
According to the official complaint, the core of the case revolves around forged land records, specifically a jamabandi document, which were submitted on December 19, 2025. These documents were allegedly presented as surety to secure bail for Deepak alias Rahul, who is an accused in an attempted murder case that was originally registered at the HTM police station back in 2023.
During the initial phases of the police investigation, it was discovered that the jamabandi copy used for the bail bond actually belonged to a different individual named Deepak, son of Indra Singh, who is a resident of Kirmara village. However, this document was allegedly misused by another person who falsely claimed to be Deepak, son of Indra Singh, but from Kuleri village.
Discrepancies in Aadhaar Cards and Village Records
The investigation took a critical turn when the actual resident of Kirmara village was questioned by authorities. He reportedly denied ever standing as a surety in the case and produced his legitimate Aadhaar card as proof. His Aadhaar card listed his date of birth as January 1, 2001. In stark contrast, the Aadhaar card that had been submitted in court showed a date of birth of January 1, 1992 and featured a completely different identification number, raising immediate red flags.
Further compounding the evidence, the sarpanch of Kuleri village informed the police investigators that no person by the name Deepak, son of Indra Singh, currently resides in Kuleri village. The sarpanch also confirmed that the individual associated with the submitted Aadhaar card does not belong to his village, effectively discrediting the authenticity of the documents presented in court.
Aadhaar Centre Confirms Irregularities
Adding to the mounting evidence, the concerned Aadhaar centre reportedly informed the police that the Aadhaar card submitted in the bail proceedings appeared to have been generated incorrectly. The centre stated that no corresponding data was available in its official records for that particular card, strongly indicating that it was a forged document.
Police Suspect Collusion and Ongoing Probe
Investigators are now operating under the suspicion that these forged documents were prepared in collusion with the village panch and then deliberately submitted before the court to illegally secure bail for the accused. The police have emphasized that this is a serious matter involving judicial processes and document fraud. A thorough and detailed investigation is currently underway to uncover all facets of this alleged conspiracy and to identify any additional individuals who may be involved.
