Hisar Police Arrest Two Youths Following Dramatic SUV Incident
In a dramatic late-night episode in Hisar, police have taken swift action after an SUV sped off with an officer clinging to the vehicle. The incident unfolded near the Inspector General of Police's office on Wednesday, sparking immediate concern and a rapid response from authorities.
Traffic Stop Turns Dangerous
Police officials reported that traffic personnel first noticed the SUV, which was registered in Meghalaya, while it was in motion. Youths were seen sitting on the rooftop of the moving vehicle, a clear violation of traffic rules and a serious safety hazard.
An officer attempted to intervene by pulling one of the youths down from the roof. However, the situation escalated quickly when the driver suddenly accelerated the SUV. This reckless move caused the policeman to be dragged along for several metres as he held on desperately.
