Haryana STF Solves Sensational Jhajjar Kidnapping in Swift 20-Hour Operation
In a remarkable display of investigative efficiency, the Haryana Special Task Force (STF) announced on Friday that it has successfully cracked the high-profile kidnapping case of a 9-year-old boy from Jhajjar district. The breakthrough was achieved within an impressive timeframe of approximately 20 hours, leading to the arrest of two primary conspirators behind this shocking crime.
Details of the Kidnapping Incident
The victim, identified as Hunarjit, son of Amarjeet, is a resident of Barani village under the jurisdiction of the Beri police station. According to police reports, the young boy was allegedly abducted by unidentified individuals near his family home around 10:45 am on March 4. Following this distressing event, an official First Information Report (FIR) was promptly registered at the Beri police station under the relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, initiating a comprehensive investigation into the matter.
Intensive Investigation by STF's Rohtak Unit
Given the grave nature of the case, the STF's specialized unit based in Rohtak launched an intensive probe under the direct supervision of Inspector Narendra Pal. Leveraging advanced technical inputs and actionable intelligence leads, the investigative team quickly unraveled the intricate conspiracy behind the kidnapping. This rapid progress enabled them to apprehend the two prime accused individuals, as confirmed by official police statements.
Identification and Roles of the Accused
The main orchestrator of the kidnapping has been identified as Monu, son of Rajbir, who hails from Kansala village in Rohtak district. Police investigations reveal that Monu allegedly conspired with his brother-in-law, Manish alias Seentu, son of Naresh, a resident of Barani village, to execute the abduction. Manish, who was employed at a cowshed owned by the victim's family, possessed intimate knowledge of the household's daily routines and movements, which he exploited to facilitate the crime.
Execution of the Kidnapping Plot
Investigators have disclosed that the duo meticulously planned the kidnapping nearly 20 days before carrying it out. On the day of Dhulandi, Manish allegedly directed the child to a nearby village shop, where the kidnappers were strategically positioned and waiting. The boy was then forcibly taken and transported away by the accused parties.
According to police sources, the kidnappers subsequently contacted the victim's family and demanded an exorbitant ransom of Rs 5 crore. After successfully collecting the ransom amount, they abandoned the child at a secluded location near Rohtak.
Swift Arrests and Ongoing Efforts
Acting decisively on multiple investigative leads, the STF team tracked down and arrested the key conspirators, Monu and Manish. STF Superintendent of Police Vikrant Bhushan confirmed this significant development, adding that the remaining individuals involved in the case have been identified. Intensive raids are currently underway to apprehend these additional suspects.
Furthermore, concerted efforts are being made to recover the substantial ransom amount paid by the victim's family. The arrested accused have been formally handed over to the district police for further legal proceedings, while investigations continue to fully uncover the extent of the conspiracy and ensure all perpetrators are brought to justice.
