An immediate alarm was raised, prompting neighbours to swiftly join a frantic search for the missing boy. The search ended in heartbreak when the toddler was found in a nearby pond. He was rushed to the South Goa District Hospital for emergency medical attention. However, doctors at the hospital declared him 'brought dead'.
