Four Police Station In-Charges Face Immediate Transfer to Lines in Sonbhadra

Sonbhadra district witnessed swift administrative action on Wednesday. Four police station in-charges found negligent in their duties were sent to lines with immediate effect. The decision came directly from Sonbhadra Superintendent of Police Abhishek Verma.

Serious Anomalies Prompt Strict Measures

SP Abhishek Verma took this step after identifying serious anomalies in how these officers discharged their duties. He emphasized that negligence, laxity, or indifference at any level will not receive any tolerance. The police chief made it clear that such disciplinary actions will continue in the future as well.

The affected police stations include Robertsganj, Vindhamganj, Babhni, and Shahganj. Their Station Officers (SOs) now face transfer to lines. This move underscores a firm stance against any form of dereliction of duty within the police force.

A Warning to All Personnel

Abhishek Verma stated his position plainly. He said the administration will not accept any slackness in performing official responsibilities. The SP warned that similar actions could follow if others fail to meet expected standards.

This incident highlights ongoing efforts to maintain discipline and accountability in Sonbhadra's police department. It serves as a reminder to all personnel about the consequences of neglecting their crucial roles in public service.
