All three are currently receiving critical medical treatment at the Tuticorin Government Medical College Hospital.

The fatal accident occurred during their return journey to Chennai on Monday while traveling on the busy Tuticorin-Madurai national highway. As the car approached the M Kottur junction near Ettayapuram, it reportedly veered off its lane and collided with tremendous force into the rear of a truck that was parked on the roadside.
