Four Accused in Parry Murder Case Brought to Chandigarh for Court Hearing

Four individuals accused of involvement in the murder of Inderjit Singh, popularly known as Parry, have arrived in Chandigarh. Police brought them to the city on production warrants from jails in Delhi and Ambala.

The accused faced a district court in Chandigarh. The court granted police seven days of remand for further investigation into the case.

Details of the Accused and Their Roles

Police identified the four accused brought to Chandigarh as:

  • Piyush Piplani, a 28-year-old resident of Panchkula
  • Kunwarbir, a 30-year-old from Amritsar
  • Gopal from Faridkot
  • Shivam from Faridkot

Investigators revealed specific roles for each accused. According to police statements, Piplani served as one of the main shooters in the murder. Kunwarbir drove the car used during the crime.

Gopal and Shivam provided logistical support to the gang. Their assistance included arranging weapons, vehicles, mobile phones, and SIM cards. They also sheltered the shooters and helped plan further criminal activities.

Additional Accused and Police Actions

Police await production warrants for three more suspects. These individuals include:

  1. Ankush, a 23-year-old from Panchkula
  2. Lovepreet Singh, a 26-year-old from Naraingarh
  3. Santokh, also known as Kapil Khatri, a 29-year-old from Tarn Taran

Authorities plan to bring these three accused to Chandigarh soon for questioning. Police sources confirmed this development.

Investigators identified Ankush as another main shooter in the murder. Delhi Police's Special Cell arrested the accused in Delhi. The arrests occurred when the group gathered to plan a new criminal operation.

During the arrests, police recovered four pistols from the accused. All suspects maintain links to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's close associates, Harry Boxer and Arju Bishnoi.

Background of the Murder and Victim

The murder occurred on December 1, 2025, around 6:30 PM. Parry, a resident of Sector 33 in Chandigarh, stepped out of a club in Sector 26. He entered his car and moved a short distance when a shooter already seated inside fired multiple shots at close range.

After the attack, the accused fled the scene in a Hyundai Creta car. Panchkula police arrested Gopal and Shivam soon after the murder.

Parry faced several criminal cases in Chandigarh and Punjab. He shared a long association with gangster Bishnoi, dating back to their college days. Their contact grew during student politics at Panjab University around 2010. Both men had even served jail time together in the past.

Gang Rivalry and Social Media Claims

Soon after the murder, social media posts appeared claiming responsibility for the killing. The Lawrence gang made these claims. An alleged call recording of a conversation between Lawrence and Parry also went viral.

Later, voice recordings of gangsters Goldy Brar and Harry Boxer emerged. In these recordings, they accused each other and exposed internal gang rivalry.

Criminal Records of the Accused

Police records show criminal backgrounds for some accused. One of them faces involvement in a drug trafficking case in Punjab. Another has two criminal cases related to assault and brawling.

The investigation continues as police work to uncover all details of this complex case. The seven-day remand will allow authorities to question the accused thoroughly about their involvement and connections.
