Tragic Crow Rescue in Bhiwandi Claims Fireman's Life
A fire department employee died in Bhiwandi while attempting to rescue a crow. The incident occurred in the Temghar area. His colleague sustained serious injuries during the operation.

Onlookers alerted the fire station about a trapped bird. A rescue team quickly arrived at the scene. The team included Fireman and Duty In-charge Asaram Aaghav, driver Shankar Bendkoli, and firemen Nitin Pashte and Sandeep Kokare.
The crow was entangled in a kite string near a high-tension electric wire. Firemen Asaram Aaghav and Nitin Pashte climbed a pole to free the bird. They believed the electricity supply had been disconnected.
Fatal Contact with Live Wire
Unfortunately, the wire remained live. Both firemen suffered severe electric shocks upon contact. Colleagues rushed them to a private hospital immediately.
Doctors declared fireman Nitin Pashte dead on arrival. Asaram Aaghav received urgent medical treatment. Hospital sources confirm his condition is now stable. He remains under close observation.
