Fake Doctor Busted in Khunti Clinic Raid

A man has been apprehended by authorities for allegedly practicing medicine using counterfeit qualifications in Jharkhand's Khunti district. The arrest was made on Tuesday by a joint team of administrative and police officials operating within the Karra police station limits.

Surprise Inspection Reveals Deception

During a surprise inspection conducted at Aman Nursing Home located in Birda village, the team discovered that the accused, identified as Sahid Ahmad, was operating the clinic as a general physician. Ahmad, who hails from Itki block in Ranchi district, was present and practicing at the facility when officials arrived.

When questioned by authorities about his credentials, Ahmad presented what appeared to be a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Science degrees. These documents were purportedly issued by the Indian Courses of Alternative Medicine. However, upon verification, both certificates were conclusively found to be fake and illegitimate.

Legal Action and Charges Filed

Following the discovery, police immediately took Ahmad into custody. A formal case has been registered against him under the relevant sections of the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita and the Drugs and Cosmetics Act. This legal action highlights the seriousness with which authorities are treating cases of medical fraud that potentially endanger public health and safety.

The successful operation demonstrates the continued vigilance of law enforcement and administrative bodies in cracking down on unqualified individuals posing as medical professionals in the region.
