The Rural Superintendent of Police, Kapil Chaudhary, announced this significant achievement during a press conference held at the collectorate on Wednesday.

Details of the Criminal Incident

The robbery took place on November 25 at approximately 6:30 am near Ekra Shiv Mandir. According to police reports, unidentified assailants brutally assaulted the truck driver, used abusive language, and then fled with the vehicle. The Loyabad police station received immediate information about the crime and sprang into action.

Based on the driver's prompt alert and a formal written complaint filed by the vehicle owner, authorities registered a case under the Loyabad police station jurisdiction. The quick reporting proved crucial in enabling police to respond effectively to the situation.

Special Investigation Team Formed

Following the registration of the case, senior police officials established a Special Investigation Team (SIT) under the direct supervision of the Senior SSP. The team was led by DSP (Law & Order) Naushad Alam, who coordinated a comprehensive investigation strategy.

The SIT employed multiple investigative approaches including technical evidence analysis, thorough examination of CCTV footage, and human intelligence gathering. This multi-pronged strategy enabled investigators to quickly identify and track down the suspects involved in the crime.

Arrests and Recovery Operation

The arrested suspects have been identified as Ujjwal Kumar (28), a resident of Jehanabad in Bihar, and Rakesh Kumar Singh (28), who hails from Tetulmari in Dhanbad.

Police authorities are currently interrogating both accused persons to uncover additional details about the crime network. Investigators are working to identify any remaining members of the criminal gang and establish deeper connections related to this incident.
