Delhi Police Apprehends Two Shooters from Bishnoi Syndicate After Alipur Encounter

In a significant development, Delhi Police has arrested two shooters linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi syndicate. The arrests come in connection with two separate extortion-related shootings that shook the capital just two days ago.

Fierce Shootout Leads to Capture

The police operation culminated in a dramatic shootout near the Alipur area. According to official sources, the two suspects opened fire at the police team when confronted. The officers were forced to retaliate in self-defense.

One of the shooters sustained a gunshot injury to his knee during the exchange. Police immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Doctors have reported his condition as stable. The other individual, believed to be a minor, was successfully overpowered and taken into custody without further incident.

High-Profile Investigation Team

A specialized team led by Special Commissioner of Police Ravindra Yadav and Joint Commissioner Madhur Verma spearheaded the operation. Investigators relied on technical intelligence and detailed analysis of CCTV footage to track down the suspects.

Sources within the police department revealed that the duo received their orders directly from Randeep Malik. Malik serves as a key lieutenant in the Lawrence Bishnoi criminal network.

Coordinated Extortion Attacks

The arrested shooters were allegedly tasked with executing two separate attacks on the same day. They first targeted a gym located in Paschim Vihar in west Delhi. Later that night, they struck again at a businessman's residence in east Delhi.

Investigators say Malik provided the shooters with an advance payment and precise coordinates through a secure messaging application. The pair then carried out the shootings as instructed.

Chilling Details Emerge

During the Paschim Vihar incident, the gang left a terrifying warning for their victim. They threatened, "Next time, if you don't pick up the call, I will have you picked up from the earth. You will meet the same fate as Nadir Shah..."

Nadir Shah was previously gunned down by the same gang in south Delhi's Greater Kailash area in September 2024. Police sources confirm that Randeep Malik also coordinated that earlier shooting.

Signature Intimidation Tactics

In the east Delhi shooting, the gang employed their signature intimidation method. They recorded themselves firing shots into the air. This tactic is designed to create viral content that spreads fear through the community.

The targeted businessman had received a demand for protection money amounting to five crore rupees. Following the shooting incident, authorities have provided him with enhanced security measures.

Capital on Alert

The twin shootings within a single day sent shockwaves through Delhi's business community. The brazen attacks at commercial establishments highlighted the ongoing challenge of organized crime in the city.

Police officials emphasize that investigations remain active. They are pursuing all leads to dismantle the broader criminal network behind these extortion attempts.
