Daltonganj: Police on Sunday sent alleged murder accused Dilip Tiwary to the central jail after his 24-hour police remand expired. Tiwary is one of the accused in the kidnapping and murder of realtor Vineet Tiwary, whose body was discovered beside NH-75 at Jorkat in the last week of April.
Ongoing Search for Another Accused
Police are still searching for another accused, Pradeep Tiwary alias Mahakaal, who has reportedly gone underground. SDPO Sadar Rajesh Yadav stated, “The undertrial accused was taken on foot to the jail after his police remand got over today.”
Case Background
The case involves the kidnapping and subsequent murder of Vineet Tiwary, a local realtor. The body was found along the national highway, sparking a police investigation that led to the arrest of Dilip Tiwary. Authorities continue their efforts to apprehend the remaining suspect.
