The arrests were made on Wednesday, with the accused identified as Poongodi, 43, and her son Arunkumar, 21, residents of Rooba Nagar in Sundakkamuthur.

Initial Investigation and Suspicious Death

The deceased, Vijayakumar, 46, a banana leaf trader, was initially believed to have died under suspicious circumstances.
