The deceased child has been identified as R Ayan, aged 10. His parents, 38-year-old Rizwan Ansari and 35-year-old Salma Khatoon, along with his siblings Musrat (17) and Sayal (15), are currently undergoing intensive treatment at the Hosur Government Hospital. According to police reports, the parents were employed at a poultry farm located in B Muduganapalli, near Hosur.
Family's Recent Movements and Discovery
The family had relocated to Hosur for work just six months ago. They had recently visited their hometown and returned to resume their duties at the farm two weeks ago. The alarming situation came to light when a co-worker, K Nagaraj (38), who handles maintenance at the farm, noticed their absence from work.
Concerned, Nagaraj went to check on them at their residence. "When he went inside the house, Nagaraj found that all of them had vomited and were unconscious," stated an officer from the Bagalur police station. Nagaraj immediately alerted the authorities, who arranged for an ambulance to rush the entire family to the hospital.
Ongoing Police Investigation
The poultry farm where Rizwan and Salma worked is owned by Jayaprakash Reddy from Bengaluru. The Bagalur police have registered a case and have initiated a thorough investigation to determine the circumstances and potential reasons that led this family to such a desperate step. Authorities are piecing together the events leading up to Monday's heartbreaking suicide attempt.
As the investigation continues, the community and authorities are left seeking answers behind this profound tragedy affecting a migrant family far from their home in Bihar.
