Tragic Car Crash Claims Life of Chennai Man Near Avadi
A devastating road accident has resulted in the death of a 36-year-old man in Chennai. The incident occurred late at night when the victim's car was rear-ended by another vehicle, leading to a fatal collision with an electric pole.
Details of the Fatal Incident
The deceased has been identified as Abinesh Raghav, a resident of Veerapuram near Avadi. He was the owner of a local bike showroom. According to police reports, the tragedy unfolded as Raghav was returning home with his seven-year-old son, Aswanth, via the Vandalur-Minjur Outer Ring Road.
When their car reached the Palavedu area, another vehicle coming from behind rammed into Raghav's car. The impact caused him to lose control of the vehicle, which then veered off the road and crashed into a nearby electric pole.
Aftermath and Police Response
Abinesh Raghav succumbed to severe injuries on the spot, while his son miraculously escaped unhurt. Passengers in the other vehicle were also reported to be safe, avoiding further casualties.
Upon receiving information about the crash, Avadi traffic investigation police rushed to the scene. They recovered the body and sent it to the Government Kilpauk Medical College Hospital for a postmortem examination.
