Bokaro School Buses Torched in Late-Night Arson Attack

In a disturbing incident in Bokaro, unidentified miscreants set fire to three school buses and a vehicle belonging to a private residential school late on Thursday night. The vehicles were completely gutted in the blaze, according to officials from the Pindrajora police station who confirmed the details on Friday.

Police Investigation Underway to Uncover Motive

Abhishek Kumar Ranjan, the officer-in-charge of Pindrajora police station, stated that efforts are actively underway to determine the motive behind the torching of the school vehicles, which were parked inside the campus. "Arrests will be made soon," Ranjan assured, emphasizing the urgency of identifying the suspects involved in this criminal act.

Well-Planned Incident with CCTV Tampering

School principal Krishna Gopal Pandey described the incident as appearing to be well planned. "The CCTV wires were severed and then the vehicles were set ablaze," Pandey revealed. He further noted that the rooms of the watchman and the director were locked from outside, suggesting a deliberate attempt to hinder any immediate response.

Watchman Raises Alarm After Noticing Fire

The fire was first noticed by the school watchman, who promptly raised an alarm. This alert likely helped prevent further damage, although the targeted vehicles were already engulfed in flames. The incident has raised concerns about security at educational institutions in the region.

Authorities are continuing their investigation, with a focus on forensic evidence and witness statements to piece together the events of that night. The community is awaiting updates as police work to bring the perpetrators to justice.
