In a proactive move to ensure peace and order during the upcoming Maha Shivratri celebrations, the Inspector General (IG) of Police for the Bokaro range, Sunil Bhaskar, conducted a comprehensive review of security arrangements on Thursday. The high-level meeting, held via video conference, included all Deputy Inspectors General (DIGs) and Superintendents of Police (SPs) from seven districts under the Bokaro range.

IG Sunil Bhaskar issued strict directives to district police chiefs, emphasizing the need for foolproof security arrangements throughout the festival period. He instructed officials to deploy adequate police forces at all Shiva temples and other religious sites, with particular focus on locations identified as sensitive or hypersensitive.
