Bihar Conducts Earthquake Safety Drill at Patna Collectorate
The Bihar State Disaster Management Authority organized a comprehensive earthquake safety mock drill at the Patna Collectorate on Saturday. This event formed a crucial part of the ongoing Earthquake Safety Fortnight, which will conclude on January 29.
Leadership and Supervision
Sunil Kumar Singh, Commandant of the 9th Battalion NDRF, directed the exercise. Deputy Commandant Lalan Kumar provided direct supervision throughout the drill.
Primary Objectives and Training
The drill aimed to sensitize personnel about minimizing casualties and property damage during seismic events. A dedicated training team demonstrated essential rescue techniques and office safety protocols.
