Seeing this opportunity, the woman took action. She used the sleeping man's mobile phone to dial the emergency number 112. Her call to police came around 12:15 AM. She informed them about the horrific crime and her location.

Police Respond Promptly to Emergency Call

Law enforcement officers acted swiftly upon receiving the distress call. They immediately proceeded to the address provided by the woman. The door to the godown was locked from the outside. Police personnel had to break it open to enter the premises.

Inside, they found the survivor in a critical condition. Liquor bottles lay scattered across the room. The intoxicated man was still present at the scene. Officers quickly secured the area and provided medical attention to the injured woman.

Medical Care and Legal Proceedings Begin

Authorities rushed the survivor to the Government Medical College and Hospital in Purnea. Doctors began treating her injuries immediately. Police recorded her formal statement at the hospital as part of their investigation.

Medical examination of the survivor is currently underway. This crucial step will help gather forensic evidence for the case. The arrested accused has been identified as Mohammad Junaid, aged 35. He is a local resident of the area.
