The police team took into custody Balu Chavan (38), a resident of Junnar who is already listed on police records. The recovered items include two stolen motorcycles and ten mobile handsets. According to the police, Chavan targeted the Jejuri area for stealing the mobile phones. Furthermore, the two-wheelers were stolen from the Bibvewadi and Jejuri areas.
