Bhopal: Two Class 9 Students Missing from Ratibad School for Four Days
Bhopal: Two Class 9 Students Missing for Four Days

Two teenage students from a government-run residential school in Bhopal have been missing for four days, with police search teams yet to trace their whereabouts. The minors, both around 16 years old and studying in Class 9, disappeared under mysterious circumstances from their school in the Ratibad area.

Chronology of a Mysterious Disappearance

The incident unfolded during the intervening night of December 12 and 13. According to authorities, on the evening of December 12, the two boys were found engaging in mischief on the school premises. Teachers reprimanded them and issued a warning that their parents would be summoned the following day.

Later that night, around 1 am on December 13, the students went missing from the school. Their absence was discovered the next morning, prompting the school management to immediately inform the Ratibad police. A formal missing persons case was registered, and a large-scale search operation was launched.

Police Investigation and Sparse Leads

Ratibad Station House Officer RB Sharma provided details of the investigation. Police teams discovered that the boys were reportedly seen in the Neelbad area around 5:40 am on the morning of December 13. Later the same afternoon, they were allegedly spotted in Nathu Barkheda, riding on a tractor.

A significant challenge for the investigators is the lack of concrete digital evidence. The students did not appear in any CCTV camera footage, making it difficult to pinpoint their exact route or current location. However, police have gathered a witness account from a tractor driver from Mugaliyachhap village, who confirmed that the two students hitched a ride on his vehicle.

Background and Ongoing Search Efforts

The missing teenagers are both residents of the Berasia area and come from farming families. They were enrolled as students at the government boarding school in Ratibad.

As of Tuesday evening, multiple police teams remain deployed across possible locations in a concerted effort to locate the minors. The search operation is ongoing, but authorities have admitted that no concrete leads have emerged so far. The police are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in the safe recovery of the students.
