Bengaluru Realtor Found Dead in Car After Night Out with Friends

In a tragic incident in Bengaluru, a 56-year-old realtor and small-time financier was discovered dead inside his car in Electronics City on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Narayanappa, a resident of Basapura.

Discovery and Initial Response

Members of the public alerted the police control room in the afternoon after noticing Narayanappa sitting motionless in the vehicle, positioned next to the driver's seat. Upon arrival, police confirmed he was deceased. Using his mobile phone found in his trouser pocket, authorities were able to contact his family members promptly.

Investigation Reveals Night Out Details

Police investigations uncovered that Narayanappa had visited a bar in Electronics City on Friday night with his friends, Manjunatha Reddy and Shivu. CCTV footage from the establishment shows Narayanappa visibly intoxicated and struggling to walk, with Reddy and Shivu assisting him by holding his arms as they exited.

An officer stated: "The CCTV footage in the bar shows Narayanappa, who was high on alcohol, finding it difficult to walk. Reddy and Shivu were seen holding his arms and bringing him out. Thereafter, Narayanappa sat next to the driver's seat while Manjunath Reddy drove the car, owned by Narayanappa."

Shivu parted ways with them outside the bar. After driving a couple of kilometers, Reddy, who was also in no condition to drive safely, parked the car by the roadside and proceeded to go home, according to police statements.

Case Registration and Current Status

The following day, Narayanappa was found dead inside the vehicle, which remained parked in the same location. Police have registered a case of unnatural death but have indicated they do not suspect foul play at this stage.

Police explained: "There are no physical injuries on the body, nor had Reddy and Narayanappa fought anywhere. So, the autopsy report will reveal the reason behind the death."

The investigation is ongoing, with authorities awaiting the autopsy results to determine the exact cause of death. The case highlights concerns over safety and responsibility during night outs involving alcohol consumption.
