A horrifying discovery in Bareilly has left the Izzatnagar area and the entire city in a state of deep shock and anguish. The body of an unidentified young boy, brutally murdered, was found stuffed inside a steel box near the Nakatiya river, close to the busy Delhi-Lucknow National Highway.

City Police Officer Manush Parekh stated that the child was likely murdered about 7 to 8 hours before the discovery. Simultaneously, other police units are scanning hours of CCTV footage from cameras in the vicinity of the highway and Izzatnagar.
