The collision occurred near a culvert on Belagal Road. Varalakshmi, a resident of Gautam Nagar, was riding the scooter with her mother when a truck rammed into them. The impact was severe, and Varalakshmi was run over by the truck, sustaining significant injuries to both her legs. Her mother escaped with relatively minor injuries. Both victims were rushed for medical attention following the crash.
