Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at the renowned Tirumala temple on Thursday. Accompanied by his family members, the Governor arrived at the Mahadwaram of the hill temple, where he was accorded a traditional 'Isthikapal' welcome along with temple honours by officials and priests of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), led by Executive Officer Muddada Ravichandra and Additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary.
Darshan and Blessings
After a brief darshan of the presiding deity, Abdul Nazeer proceeded to the Ranganayakula Mandapam, where TTD Veda pundits rendered Vedasirvachanam. The Governor was presented with Teertha Prasadam and a laminated portrait of Lord Venkateswara by TTD EO Muddada Ravichandra and Additional EO Venkaiah Chowdary.
