Two Separate Accidents in Andhra Pradesh Leave Three Dead, Dozens Evacuated
In a tragic incident on Sunday, three people lost their lives and five others sustained injuries following a severe collision between two cars on a national highway near Ernagudem in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. Bus Fire Incident in Vizianagaram District
In a separate and unrelated event, a private travel bus was completely gutted by fire after a rear tyre burst near Tarapuram in Ramabhadrapuram mandal of Vizianagaram district on March 21. Remarkably, all 37 passengers on board managed to escape without any injuries, thanks to the swift actions of the driver and crew.
CI Srinivas Bobbili, a rural station official, provided details on the incident, stating, "The Odisha Travels bus, which was en route from Bhubaneswar to Malkajgiri, suddenly went up in flames after the tyre explosion triggered a fire. Acting swiftly, the driver immediately stopped the vehicle and ensured all passengers were evacuated safely."
MLA Among Passengers in Bus Fire
Initial reports from the scene indicated that Mangu Khilla, the MLA from Chitrakonda constituency in Odisha representing the Indian National Congress (INC), was among the passengers on the bus. Authorities have confirmed that he is safe and unharmed following the evacuation.
