Ajmer Police Nab Doctor and e-Mitra Centre Owner in Heinous Minor Rape and Blackmail Case
In a shocking development from Ajmer, Rajasthan, police have apprehended two individuals for their alleged involvement in the rape and blackmail of a 16-year-old girl. The accused have been identified as Dr. Kailash Kumar Jingar, a 32-year-old resident doctor at the government Janana Hospital in Ajmer, and Kushal Chouhan, a 32-year-old owner of an e-Mitra centre.
FIR Lodged by Victim's Sister Leads to Arrests
The case came to light when the minor girl's sister filed a First Information Report (FIR) at the Krishna Ganj police chowki on Sunday. According to police statements, the incident traces back to last year when the 16-year-old victim visited Janana Hospital with her sister-in-law for a delivery procedure.
Dr. Jingar, exploiting his position, allegedly accessed the girl's contact details from hospital records under the guise of providing updates about the newborn. He then used this information to initiate contact with the minor.
Doctor Accused of Drugging and Assaulting Victim
During the subsequent police investigation, it was revealed that Dr. Jingar lured the girl to his private flat. There, he is accused of serving her an intoxicated drink before sexually assaulting her. The doctor further compounded the trauma by photographing and recording videos of the act, which he then used as leverage for blackmail.
Medical examinations confirmed the presence of injury marks on the teenager's body, corroborating the assault allegations. Fearing exposure and continued threats, the victim initially remained silent about her ordeal.
e-Mitra Owner Exploits Situation, Commits Further Crimes
In a desperate bid for help, the minor eventually confided in an acquaintance, Kushal Chouhan, who operates an e-Mitra centre. Chouhan, instead of offering genuine assistance, betrayed her trust in a horrific manner.
He took the girl to the back of his shop where he raped her. Seizing upon the compromising photos already on her mobile phone from the earlier incident with Dr. Jingar, Chouhan began blackmailing the victim. This cycle of threats and sexual assault by Chouhan allegedly occurred multiple times, deepening the girl's suffering.
Police Action and Ongoing Investigation
Superintendent of Police Harsh Vardhan Agarwala confirmed the arrests, stating that both Dr. Kailash Kumar Jingar (a resident of Jalore district) and Kushal Chouhan are now in custody. The police are conducting a thorough investigation into the sequence of events, the digital evidence involved in the blackmail, and the full extent of the crimes committed.
The case has sent shockwaves through the local community, raising serious questions about the safety of patients, particularly minors, in healthcare settings and the abuse of trusted positions. Authorities have assured that the investigation is being pursued rigorously to ensure justice for the victim.
