Ahmedabad Court Denies Bail in Brutal 2025 Paldi Murder Case
A city sessions court in Ahmedabad refused regular bail to two individuals on Friday. They face charges for the brutal killing of 38-year-old Naishal Thakor. The incident occurred in full public view in Paldi during September 2025.
Bail Pleas and Court Proceedings
Jayesh Thakor and Chintan Khatik sought bail in this case. They are among fourteen accused persons. The applicants claimed that their names did not appear in the First Information Report (FIR).
Public prosecutor Sudhir Brahmbhatt strongly opposed the bail pleas. The investigating officer submitted an affidavit to the court. It described the act as ghastly.
After hearing arguments, Additional City Sessions Judge P B Patel rejected the bail applications. The judge considered the gravity of the offence in making this decision.
Case Details and Arrests
The crime branch arrested two individuals last September. Jayesh alias Chandu Rajubhai Thakor, aged 24, hails from Thakorvas, Shahwadi. Bhavik alias Bholu Dhanjibhai Makwana is 21 years old.
Police described the killing as an act of revenge. It involved extreme violence. CCTV footage captured seven to eight men attacking Thakor with sharp weapons.
The assailants even crushed him with a vehicle near the Anjali flyover. This location lies just 200 metres from the police station. The attack took place early in the morning.
Officials stated that Thakor had previously killed the brother of one of the accused. This background adds context to the violent retaliation.
