Background of the Case

Deepak Singla was arrested in May 2026 by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with an alleged bank fraud and money laundering case. The AAP has denied all allegations and condemned the ED's actions, describing the arrest as politically motivated and aimed at intimidating the party and accessing its organizational data.
