A devastating road accident on National Highway-34 in Madhya Pradesh's Chhatarpur district has resulted in the tragic death of six members of a single family. The fatal head-on collision occurred on Friday night when a speeding truck crashed into their car.

The horrific accident took place around 8 pm on Friday between the villages of Mungwari and Chaupariya Sarkar in Badamalhara tehsil. According to police reports, eight members of the Prajapati family from Satna were travelling in the car towards Shahgarh. A truck coming from the opposite direction, from the Sagar side, collided with their vehicle at high speed.
Local witnesses described the impact as catastrophic, stating the car was crushed into a mangled heap of metal. The force of the collision was so severe that all six victims were killed instantly on the spot. Emergency teams from the local police rushed to the site immediately after being alerted.
Rescue Operation and Aftermath
The rescue operation faced significant challenges due to the wreckage's condition. The bodies had to be extricated by breaking open the car doors.
