Lucknow: The Sarojini Nagar constituency has secured approval for 48 road construction and strengthening projects valued at Rs 11.66 crore under the Chief Minister Rapid Road Development Scheme. These projects will span approximately 9.98 km of roads across the constituency, aiming to enhance connectivity and upgrade civic infrastructure.
Projects Launch and Official Statements
Sarojini Nagar MLA Rajeshwar Singh expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the swift sanction of the projects, stating that it reflects the government's steadfast commitment to development and public welfare. As part of the initiative, road construction work was formally inaugurated in Narayanpur Bariyar Kheda village.
Expansion of Green Energy and Public Lighting
The constituency has also witnessed a significant expansion of green energy and public lighting infrastructure. More than 1,800 solar lights, 750 streetlights, and 155 high-mast lights have been installed across several localities, improving illumination and enhancing public safety.
These developments underscore the government's focus on integrated infrastructure growth, combining road connectivity with sustainable energy solutions to benefit residents.
