LDA to Build 900 Affordable Flats on Sitapur Road

The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is set to launch a new affordable housing project on Sitapur Road, following the clearance of encroachments on a 16,000-square-metre plot near Shia PG College. This initiative aims to provide around 900 flats for families belonging to the Low Income Group (LIG) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS).

Project Details

The scheme will feature 582 LIG flats and 336 EWS flats, all housed in multistoried apartment towers. The LIG units will be 2BHK flats with an estimated cost of approximately Rs 35 lakh per unit. The EWS category will consist of 1BHK flats priced at around Rs 15 lakh. All towers will be interconnected, ensuring seamless access within the complex.

Amenities and Infrastructure

The residential complex will be equipped with eight passenger lifts and three service lifts to facilitate smooth movement. Parking arrangements for more than 600 vehicles have been planned, utilising basement and stilt areas. Additionally, around 3,000 square metres of land will be reserved for green spaces, promoting a healthy environment.
