Haryana Chief Minister Distributes 2,709 Homes, Emphasizes Viksit Bharat Vision

In a significant move aimed at bolstering Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mission to transform India into a developed nation by 2047, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has handed over the keys to 2,709 new homes. The mass allotment ceremony, held in Chandigarh, was framed as a pivotal step in realizing the "Viksit Bharat" (Developed India) vision through ground-level implementation.

From Announcements to Tangible Outcomes

Addressing the "Viksit Badshahpur Maharally" on Sunday, Saini underscored a departure from previous administrative approaches, asserting that his government prioritizes effective project execution over mere political rhetoric. "The government has not limited itself to announcements, but has ensured their effective implementation on the ground," Saini stated, highlighting a strategic shift towards delivering concrete results for citizens.

The ceremony, conducted during the auspicious festival of Navratras, saw thousands of beneficiaries transition into permanent housing under the state's "Housing for All" initiative. This event, organized in coordination with the housing for all department, signals the government's intent to consolidate its legacy through large-scale infrastructure and social welfare delivery as it eyes a potential third term.

Massive Capital Influx and Industrial Transformation

State data reveals that the Badshahpur constituency has experienced a substantial influx of capital, with the government investing ₹15,166 crore in regional development over the past 11 years. This figure starkly contrasts with the ₹967 crore spent during the tenure of the previous administration. Of the 81 "Chief Minister announcements" made for the area, 60 have been successfully completed, while eight projects remain in progress, demonstrating a commitment to follow-through on promises.

The rally also spotlighted Haryana's evolution from a traditional agrarian heartland into an emerging industrial powerhouse. Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh noted that the National Capital Region (NCR), particularly the Gurugram and Manesar belts, is poised to serve as the engine room for growth through 2047. To facilitate this, the minister announced ongoing reforms in industrial policy, including the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital technologies, designed to slash procedural delays for entrepreneurs and traders, thereby boosting economic efficiency.

Enhanced Support for Armed Forces Personnel

In a related development, Chief Minister Saini announced a 100% increase in ex gratia payments for fallen personnel from the armed forces and Central Armed Police Forces. The compensation has been raised from ₹50 lakh to ₹1 crore, reflecting the government's commitment to honoring the sacrifices of security personnel.

This announcement was made during a Shaheedi Diwas programme in Gurugram, where Saini presented a cheque for ₹38.25 lakh to CRPF Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Param Shivam. The funds, raised by the Gurugram Home Developers Association, are earmarked for the families of CRPF personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh.

The event was attended by key dignitaries, including Minister for Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare Rao Narbir Singh, MLA Mukesh Sharma, and representatives from the Home Developers Association, underscoring broad-based support for these initiatives.
