CM Naidu to Inaugurate Major Solar Initiative in Anakapalle District
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is set to lay the foundation stone for a significant solar energy project in Anakapalle district, marking a pivotal step in Andhra Pradesh's renewable energy expansion. The ceremony for Renew Photovoltaics Private Limited's solar installation at the Rambilli Special Economic Zone (SEZ) is scheduled for April 23.
Large-Scale Public Gathering Follows Ceremony
Immediately after the foundation stone laying, a public meeting will be held at Gajireddypalem in Rambilli mandal. District officials anticipate a turnout of approximately 15,000 to 20,000 people at this event, which will occupy a 10-acre site. To facilitate attendance, the administration has arranged for 200 buses to transport participants to the venue, ensuring broad community access.
Comprehensive Security and Safety Measures Implemented
In preparation for the high-profile visit, the district police have enacted robust security protocols. This includes:
- Formation of quick response teams to handle any emergencies.
- Deployment of hundreds of police personnel across the venue.
- Installation of CCTV cameras to monitor activities and enhance public safety.
Additionally, due to prevailing severe heatwave conditions, the district administration has prioritized health and comfort measures. The medical department has been directed to:
- Establish adequate medical camps and station ambulances on-site.
- Ensure a continuous supply of drinking water and buttermilk for attendees to prevent heat-related illnesses.
Administrative Preparations Underway
Prior to the event, District Collector Vijaya Krishnan conducted a review meeting with top officials at the district collectorate to finalize all arrangements for the Chief Minister's visit. This coordination aims to ensure a smooth and successful execution of both the solar project inauguration and the subsequent public engagement.
