Arunachal Village Signs Key MoU for Siang Upper Multipurpose Project
In a significant step toward regional development, residents of Sitang village in Arunachal Pradesh's Siang district signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the state government on Saturday. This agreement pertains to pre-feasibility report (PFR) activities for the ambitious Siang Upper Multipurpose Project (SUMP), marking a pivotal moment for the community's future.

The signing ceremony took place in Boleng, where official reports confirmed that 58 out of 84 households in Sitang village have consented to the conduct of PFR activities under the project. Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Minister Ojing Tasing, who represents Boleng in the assembly, expressed deep gratitude to the signatories for their cooperation and trust.
