Additionally, he has been named the managing director and chief executive officer of the Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority, reflecting a strategic shift in his administrative responsibilities.

Ram Kumar Singh had taken charge as commissioner in July, succeeding Aparajita, who was appointed in November 2024.
