All civil courts in the districts of Uttar Pradesh will remain closed for one month from June 1 to June 30 due to summer vacations, as per an official announcement. During this period, civil courts will not function, while criminal courts will continue to operate as usual.
Last Working Day Sees Rush
Since Saturday was the last working day of the month before the closure, there was a noticeable increase in the number of litigants visiting the courts. Many advocates also took the opportunity to file fresh civil suits on this day to avoid delays during the vacation period. The civil courts are scheduled to reopen on July 1.
Plans of Advocates
Several advocates have planned to utilize this break by visiting hill stations, while others intend to clear their backlogs of professional and domestic work. The summer break provides an opportunity for legal professionals to recharge and organize their pending tasks.
