The Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC) will conduct Sahyog Shivir support camps across various circles on June 17 to address public grievances. The camps are scheduled at Khajpura community hall (New Capital circle), RS Darbar community hall (Patliputra circle), Dasratha community hall (Kankarbagh circle), Kadamkuan community hall (Bankipur circle), Gulzarbagh Stadium (Azimabad circle), and Tourist Facilitation Centre (Patna City circle).
According to a PMC release on Friday, the corporation prioritizes disposing of complaints within 10 days. As of Thursday, 463 applications were received through the Sahyog portal, with 452 resolved, achieving a disposal rate exceeding 98%. Municipal officials stated that pending cases are closely monitored to ensure timely resolution. Residents are urged to utilize the camps to strengthen engagement between administration and the public.
Organized following a directive from the chief minister, the camps provide a platform for citizens to submit complaints and suggestions related to municipal services and other government departments. The camps are held on the first and third Tuesday of every month to reduce the need for citizens to visit multiple government offices. Each application submitted is uploaded to the state’s Sahyog portal and assigned a unique reference number, enabling applicants to track grievance status online or at subsequent camps. Citizens can also register complaints from home through the online portal.
Meanwhile, the Patna district administration will organize a two-day block cooperation-cum-public welfare camp across all 23 blocks on June 17 and 18 to streamline government service delivery. Officials noted that nearly 91% of around 11,000 applications received across 48 departments through the district’s support portal have already been resolved.
