Bhubaneswar: Odisha has been selected for the 'PM Surya Ghar Excellence Awards,' securing the top position among states with the highest number of consumer applications, solar installations, and discom inspections for medium-level consumers, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced on Tuesday. Additionally, the state achieved third place in the 'Maximum Vendor Registrations' category.

In a post on X, CM Majhi stated, "This success is a result of the government's forward-thinking approach, departmental coordination, and the collective efforts of all field officers. I extend heartfelt congratulations to all departments, officers, and stakeholders involved in this campaign." The state received national recognition for its remarkable performance in the 'Month of Solar' campaign held in May.
