Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Mandates AI Integration and Safety Overhaul

In a comprehensive review meeting at the camp office in Vijayawada, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu issued a series of directives aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency and public safety across Andhra Pradesh. The meeting focused on multiple critical areas including accident prevention, digital service expansion, and technological modernization.

Safety Protocols and Accident Prevention Measures

Expressing deep concern over recurring accidents throughout the state, CM Naidu instructed officials to maintain maximum vigilance and strengthen precautionary systems at all administrative levels. He specifically referenced the need to study safety protocols implemented in firecracker manufacturing units in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu, to prevent similar explosive incidents from occurring within Andhra Pradesh's industrial sectors.

The chief minister emphasized that with summer approaching rapidly, the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation must ensure uninterrupted drinking water supply at all bus stations. Furthermore, he directed that conditions be maintained to guarantee passengers experience comfortable journeys from their entry points to final destinations.

Digital Services Expansion and Citizen Feedback Reform

Officials informed the chief minister that WhatsApp-based Mana Mitra services have been significantly expanded to cover 953 different government services. Naidu responded by stressing the urgent need to improve public awareness campaigns so citizens can effectively utilize these digital platforms.

Addressing citizen complaints about repeated feedback calls on identical issues, Naidu made it unequivocally clear that surveys should not be duplicated unnecessarily. He stated that such repetition causes substantial inconvenience to both citizens and government staff, ordering the practice to cease immediately. Surveys should only be conducted when additional data is genuinely required for decision-making processes.

Administrative Efficiency and Technological Integration

Calling for substantially greater administrative efficiency, CM Naidu advised all government departments to integrate artificial intelligence into their daily operations. He highlighted that data streams from multiple sources including drones, CCTV camera networks, and satellite imagery should be unified under a common mechanism to facilitate better decision-making across sectors.

The chief minister also directed officials to undertake regular field visits to improve service delivery mechanisms and strengthen performance metrics on the ground. This hands-on approach is intended to bridge the gap between policy formulation and practical implementation.

Social Welfare and Infrastructure Focus

Naidu specifically asked officials to concentrate attention on Swarna Grama and Swarna Ward areas to eliminate any potential gaps in pension disbursement systems. This targeted approach aims to ensure that social welfare benefits reach intended recipients without administrative delays or errors.

The comprehensive review covered RTGS systems and public perception metrics, with the chief minister emphasizing that technological advancement must be balanced with human-centric service delivery. The directives represent a multi-faceted approach to governance that combines safety vigilance, digital transformation, and administrative reform.
