MPPSC Sets Ambitious 2026 Interview Marathon to Clear Backlog
MPPSC Plans 90% Working Days for Interviews in 2026

The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission has unveiled an exceptionally busy interview schedule for 2026. Based in Indore, the Commission plans to hold interviews on almost ninety percent of all working days throughout the year. This aggressive approach targets the clearance of pending selections. It also aims to finish interviews for ongoing recruitment cycles before December thirty-first.

Medical Officer Recruitment Kicks Off the Process

The process is already in motion. The Commission has announced interview dates for one thousand eight hundred thirty-two medical officer positions. These interviews are scheduled to begin on January twenty-seventh. Officials expect this single recruitment drive to last for nearly three months. Completing it will mark the largest such process in the Commission's history.

A Phased Approach to Interviews

Following the medical officer interviews, the Commission will tackle several smaller examinations. After that, it will focus on the large-scale assistant professor recruitment. This structured, phased method is designed to manage the heavy workload efficiently.

Recent Activity and Future Targets

The Commission recently released the interview schedule for the State Engineering Service Examination 2024. Interviews for twenty-three posts are set for January twenty-first and twenty-second. Officials have indicated that the final selection list will be issued within fifteen days of these interviews.

The overarching goal for 2026 is clear. The Commission intends to complete not only interviews pending from the previous year but also those related to examinations conducted in 2025. R. Panchbhai, an Officer on Special Duty with the MPPSC, confirmed the scale of the medical officer recruitment. He noted that filling such a large number of posts in one go is unprecedented for the Commission.

This packed calendar represents a significant administrative push. The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission is taking decisive steps to address recruitment delays and streamline its selection processes for the future.
