Home Guard Recruitment and Agniveer Reservation Announced

The CM announced a major recruitment drive for Home Guards across the state. In a significant move, Agniveers—youths who have served under the Agnipath scheme—will receive reservation in appointments to security forces, including the Home Guard. This decision is expected to benefit thousands of Agniveers seeking stable employment post-service.

Biometric Attendance Systems to be Installed at Mantralaya, Satpura, and Vindhyachal

To ensure punctuality and accountability among government employees, biometric attendance systems will be installed at the Mantralaya (state secretariat) and the Satpura and Vindhyachal government complexes. CM Dr. Yadav directed officials to implement the system within three months, stating that it will help improve administrative efficiency.

Coordinate with Central Government to Reclaim BHEL Land

The CM instructed the state administration to coordinate with the central government to reclaim land belonging to Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) that is currently lying unused or encroached upon. The reclaimed land will be used for public infrastructure projects. According to officials, approximately 500 acres of BHEL land in Bhopal and other districts are under dispute.

Grand Memorial to be Built on Union Carbide Site

A grand memorial will be constructed on the site of the former Union Carbide factory in Bhopal, the location of the 1984 gas tragedy. The memorial will honor the thousands of victims and serve as a reminder of the disaster. CM Dr. Yadav said the project will be completed within two years and will include a museum and a research center.

Campaign for Free Registration of Residential Land in Rural Areas

A campaign will be launched to facilitate free registration of residential land in rural areas. The initiative aims to provide clear land titles to rural residents, enabling them to access government schemes and bank loans. The revenue department will conduct special camps in villages to process registrations at no cost.

Religious and Social Institutions Encouraged to Build Dharamshalas, Sarais, and Community Kitchens

CM Dr. Yadav called upon religious and social institutions to come forward and build dharamshalas (rest houses), sarais (inns), and community kitchens at religious and pilgrimage sites across the state. The government will provide land and financial assistance for these projects. This move is expected to boost religious tourism and provide free or low-cost accommodation to pilgrims.

According to a government spokesperson, the CM reviewed the progress of these key initiatives during a high-level meeting and issued directions for their timely implementation. The meeting was attended by senior officials from various departments.
